30.1 Trust that God loves us the most

Series 30

Episode 1

Prologue

Message

Prologue

Brothers and sisters, today’s topic of Treasures for the Soul is “Trust that God loves us the most.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit truly love us very much. The Bible shows us a lot of evidence about this, including the fact that we’re created in the image of God. In addition, the Lord’ became a man for us forever. This shows how closely God can be connected to man even though God is a divine being. We are united with the Lord. When we believed in the Lord, we immediately enjoyed all the blessings of the New Covenant. We became God’s firstborn. God also gives us the Bible, the most precious book. The Lord’s journey from heaven to earth helps us know God in a more concrete way. Therefore, we should not wait till the Lord’s return to understand how much God loves us. In fact, we can experience and know God today, and we can build the church after His heart around the world.

Message

The love of the Father, the Lord and the Holy Spirit toward you is beyond measure. Each and every one of you is the most perfect new creation through the Holy Spirit. We were originally created in God’s image and we can be most like Him. Through how the Lord became a man, we can see how God and man are most compatible. Having become a man, the Lord is God and man at the same time, in one person, the Christ. Wouldn’t you agree that God’s divine nature and manhood are highly compatible? The Lord’s life on earth lets you see that the Lord is a real person. Yet, at the same time, He manifested God the Father. He said that whoever has seen Him has seen the Father. From this, we see that man is marvelously created; we can manifest God so perfectly.

When God created you, He already made you the most compatible with Him. Of course, you need to make decisions. When we accepted the Lord’s salvation and received Him as our Saviour, we already made the eternal decision. On the day when we believed, not only were our sins forgiven, but something big happened: we began to experience the New Covenant. The Lord said that He established the New Covenant with His blood. As new believers, we didn’t know much about this.

There are four blessings in the New Covenant. One of the blessings is forgiveness of our sins. God no longer remembers our sins. The moment we believed, the New Covenant became effective immediately and we received all the blessings. You enjoyed forgiveness of sins, followed by the other blessing—you became a new creation and you were born again. From that day on, you are forever the child of God and you’re united with the Lord. This is the reason why being “In Christ” refers to the fact that someone believes in the Lord. This is another way to describe our union with the Lord. Of course, this also includes other meanings. You are united with the Lord and He is your true Beloved.

The second blessing is that God is your God, and you are His people. From what I just explained, you see that we are more than just His people. When we were born again, the Bible called us a new creation. The Song of Solomon describes us as “altogether beautiful.” The most important questions are: Are our sins completely removed? And are we forever righteous before God? Hebrews tells us that our sins have been washed away once and for all. We are free to come before God whenever we want to. We can boldly enter the Holy of Holies, not just the living room. It’s written in the Song of Solomon that the king has brought us into his chambers. He doesn’t want any of us to stay in the outer court. When the Lord was on earth, some disciples had more opportunities to be with Him. Of course this depended on how much they desired for the Lord. But now, there is no difference because He is living in our hearts. The Lord being with me doesn’t affect His presence with you. When He was on earth, He could not be physically with everyone at the same time because He was a real man. Yet, in terms of spirit, He is everywhere because He is God at the same time. He now lives in your heart. His presence is with you. He lives in your heart every day. Do you want to live out a love life with Him? The Lord has given you freedom. You can choose to live with Him, to let Him help you, and to have fellowship with Him in your daily life.

What is the third blessing? Everyone can know Him regardless of his or her age . You gain first-hand experience of God by drawing near to Him, not just by hearing from others. Hearing is beneficial, of course. When you listen, the Holy Spirit works in you and gives you first-hand experience. The most important thing is whether your heart is toward Him and you are ready to receive Him. You must be willing to listen to His word without any distractions. Even though I’m sharing the message, you cannot just rely on my words . Without the Lord’s work, my words are very limited. His special presence is with me in the meetings. Therefore, meetings are very important.

Psalm 22 writes about the Lord’s multiple suffering on the cross. This chapter begins with a depiction of the greatest pain that the Lord suffered–that He was forsaken by the Father. Later, the chapter explains the results of the Lord’s sacrifice—the church came into being, and God became our God. The church is God’s household. If God was not our Father, the church would be an orphanage. The Lord is very joyous because His desire has been fulfilled. He has gained those whom the Father has given Him. The love desire of the Father has also been fulfilled. His desire and love dream from eternity past is to gain you as His dearest child. You are the firstborn among everyone in this whole universe, even more glorious than the people of Israel and the archangels! I was created in His own image and I have the highest potential. Once I was born again, I became what God wants me to be—a new creation, the most compatible with the Father and the Lord. Therefore, we can know Him, experience Him, and have deep fellowship with Him. Our knowledge of Him continues to grow.

God has written us a long yet concise letter. Even if you put all other books in this world together, they still could not compare to the Bible. He reveals His heart to you in this love letter, which is from the bottom of God’s heart. He lives in your heart because He wants to express Himself to you. The Beloved Son of God became a man to express Himself to you in person. His expression is very concrete. Isn’t it so precious? Some may say, “I’ll only believe in God if I can see him.” This doesn’t make sense, because the Lord did come in person, not for a brief moment, but He lived on earth for more than 30 years. Furthermore, John the apostle said that he had seen Him, heard Him and touched Him. The Lord lived cordially among people. They saw God, but they nailed Him on the cross. Some loved Him very much; their eyes were open. In fact, men had seen God in a very concrete way–in the form of the Lord Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:16 reads: Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh. He really wants you to see Him.

Even though we weren’t there in person, His life story was written down in the Bible. And the Holy Spirit has come. He glorifies the Lord. He’s in your heart and leads you to know Him. Paul was not with Jesus when He was on earth. Paul didn’t have the opportunity to follow Jesus at that time. But his understanding of the Lord was no less than the other disciples. This is obvious in all the letters he wrote. Paul also said that he no longer regarded Christ according to the flesh. (2 Corinthians 5:16) It’s so precious that we will see Him one day. That day is coming soon! I wrote a poem yesterday about entering into eternity soon. I don’t know when the Lord will return. I don’t know the precise date. But you know it’s coming very quickly. You should be excited! Because His return is at hand, His will will be done soon. These events are connected. Is it precious? I’m very glad because the Lord has commissioned me. I want to finish His will before I see Him. It won’t be long till I enter eternity. I also want to love Him more and more. Both you and I should prepare love gifts for Him. We will offer Him these gifts when we see Him face to face.

I truly want us to accomplish His will around the world together, to build the church after His heart in many places. He is able! This is so wonderful ! When we see the Lord, you’ll be remembered for building the church after His heart in cities and countries where the church didn’t exist in the past. What’s your dream? The Lord is coming back soon.

Of course, the most important thing is you. When we see the Lord, we won’t be able to bring anything from this world. However, we will bring ourselves to see Him. I hope that you will bring with you a glorious spirit and love memories with Him. These are not merely things of the past. These are things the Lord treasures and keeps in His heart for eternity. Your relationship with Him will never fade. The love and friendship will continue through eternity, and grow deeper as time goes by. You will also see the Lord soon! We want to see the Lord together. Regardless of your age, wouldn’t it be good for us to see the Lord together? At that time, I will no longer need to share messages, but you will already know that the Lord loves you so much. You will love Him forever. Not only will you sin no more, but your love will overflow. However, we should not wait till that day. We should strive to know His love today.

The core things we need to see when we behold the Lord

Message Date: 2020-05-31

It is extremely important for us to behold the Lord; it is the way to our transformation–glory upon glory, sweetness upon sweetness, and joy upon joy. We must use our faith to come before the Lord. Faith is based upon the truth, which is God’s word. The devil’s main focus is to deceive us, so that we do not trust that God loves us the most, thus we would not be attracted by God’s love. The most important thing in beholding is for us to see God’s image, how He treats us, and His countenance towards us. We must pursue Him diligently, solve the problems regarding our spirits, and know God more. The truth will set us free. We must clear up all of our doubts about God’s love for us, and know that we are the Lord’s first love and eternal love. The Lord calls us His perfect ones, above reproach, altogether beautiful and without blemish.
