30.3 The focus of Satan’s deception: making us not to believe that God loves us the most.

Series 30

Episode 3

Prologue

Message

Prologue

Brothers and sisters, today’s topic for  Treasures for the Soul is “The focus of Satan’s deception: making us not to believe that God loves us the most.”

Satan has disrupted the relationship between man and God from the beginning. It’s written in Genesis how he tempted Adam and Eve. It’s also written in Job how he accused God and man. Satan uses many misconceptions, accusations and shadows to make us think that God does not love us the most. We are in a spiritual battle, therefore, we must use God’s word to help ourselves and strive to stand against the devil. Moreover, we need to be assured that God loves us the most.

Message

There are things in life that we need to be clear about. Just now I said that God loves you so much. You also treasure and love God. He loves you and you love Him. But beware that Satan always comes between God and you. He’s very evil. He’s Satan! You see, God appeared to Adam and Eve. He put them in the Garden of Eden. It was such a perfect environment. Their physical condition was the greatest of any human being who had ever lived . Yet, Satan came between God and them. It’s important for us to know how he disrupted the relationship between God and man. It’s because to this day,  he’s been using the same lies to deceive mankind. I absolutely believe that you have experienced the same in your life. You have probably been disturbed countless times. Even before you believed in the Lord, you had been subjected to his schemes unknowingly. His goal is to alienate you from God. For sure, he wants you to feel that God does not love you that much.

After you believed, you came to know that the Lord loves you very much. Although you may not have understood much in the beginning, you at least knew that the Lord came and died for you. He took away all your sins. This is nothing trivial! I believe that you loved the Lord once you believed in Him, even though you might not have known much. At least you were thankful to Him. To this day, Satan must have tried numerous times to make you think that God does not love you the most. He cannot say God does not love you at all because no one would believe in a lie when it’s over the top. Satan is good at lying. Therefore, he might say God loves you less, or God does not love you as much because of certain reasons. He makes his lies sound reasonable so that you might think he’s stating the truth. He is indeed very evil! He tries to find ways to deceive you. When he tempted Adam and Eve, he even quoted the scriptures in a way that was out of context and not according to its true meaning. He did that because he knows you believe in what the Bible says. Therefore, we should understand the Bible, know its context and grasp the meaning of the truth.

Satan is very wicked. From Genesis, we can see the deceit underlying his words. The Book of Job, the most ancient book in the Bible, was written around the same time as Genesis. From chapters 1 and 2, God already reveals Satan’s true colours. He slandered God and Job at the same time, trying to kill two birds with one stone. He tried to disrupt the relationship between God and Job. In today’s world, people also ruin relationships between other people through bad words. I have personally been slandered thousands of times. But I treasure it because it proves that I have something precious, and Satan doesn’t want people to believe what I say. He doesn’t want others to listen to my messages or read my books. For those who have heard my messages or read my books, Satan puts  doubts in their minds by casting me in a negative light. This is his trick.

The church was very glorious in the first stage. But Satan slandered us severely and projected an evil image on me. In reality, even children liked me. From my personal experience and what this movement has endured, we know that the devil is real  and never stops working. He wants to stop God’s will from being done. If you trusted in God your entire life without any wavering, you would be very glorious today. I have personally  experienced thousands of slanders and accusations, which are all part of his schemes. He uses all kinds of thoughts to affect you, and to cast shadows in your heart so that you are affected by past experiences. He has  many ways of dragging you down such as lies and comparisons. He gives you these thoughts  to make  you believe  that God does not love you as much. I give thanks to God for letting me know His love so  well—of course what I know now is still limited, because His love is so vast. Satan will continue to try his best to disturb me, because he thinks he may have a chance to succeed after multiple attacks.

The spiritual war is real. Paul talks about God’s will and how to finish it in Ephesians. At the end of the book, he also talks about how Satan obstructs God’s will. Satan uses all kinds of misconceptions  and lies. In fact, he has already deceived the whole world. The Bible says the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. Satan is the deceiver of the whole world. Some people consider themselves wise not to believe in God. In fact, this is also Satan’s scheme. They would say things like, “There is no God. I believe in science.” Satan is laughing at their foolishness. Satan also uses religions to deceive people to a point that they are willing to sacrifice themselves for these religions. What a pity! He also attracts people with many worldly things so that they become foolish.

All of these are lies. The devil hinders man from knowing God. Without God, man has no hope, because God is the origin of all things. Satan is the deceiver of the whole world. All false religions and beliefs are the result of Satan’s lies. All false doctrines are also his lies. Through entertainment, he induces a wrong sense of values. Philosophers will not be able to provide answers. Only true believers can find the answers – in God’s word. Anything that is against God’s word is false. Satan is very wicked and horrible! He even uses people to deceive other people. Some people may not be trying to mislead others, but they themselves have already been deceived. The Bible says: the blind lead the blind. (Matthew 15:14) They don’t even know that they are blind. Rather, they think their eyes are open and others are superstitious. But actually, they are the ones who are superstitious. Only those who truly know God and His word have true faith.

Satan deceives people to a point that they don’t believe in the existence of Satan, so that they won’t know they have been deceived. He hides himself so well it’s as if he is invisible. We believe in the truth, but we are the ones being slandered. Satan causes others to think that we are naive. He uses many ways to deceive people, who in turn deceive others. Paul said it clearly: Do not be conformed to this world. (Romans 12:2) This world has been seriously deceived by the devil. There is so much misinformation in your mobile phone. We don’t need all this information. The Bible exceeds everything. Even two pages from the Song of Solomon has immeasurable value.

I treasure that the Lord has opened my eyes. I was once deceived by the devil into thinking that I was wise. Satan deceives people into wholly committing themselves into something wrong. The Bible says: There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25) This is actually written in the Bible more than once. The Bible also says that we once went astray as lost sheep. I was like this; you were too. But it’s precious that the shepherd has found me and saved me. He is the light that shines in my life, so that I no longer walk in the dark. Before I believed in the Lord, I was walking in the dark, just like everyone else in this world. The blind  admire other blind individuals because they have no discernment. They regard philosophers highly. Nowadays, many people are highly regarded by others, but in God’s view, they have no substance. I do not despise them. But this is the reality and the Bible says so. God loves them also. What do people have who continue to follow Satan? People may think highly of them. But in reality, they cannot be compared to you. I’m not saying this to make you puffed up. I just want your eyes to be opened so you’ll be able to discern what is true from what isn’t.

From everything I discussed, the most important thing is that you should put in the effort to stand against the schemes of the devil. Otherwise, your joy will be affected. If you don’t think that God loves you that much, you won’t be as joyful as you should be. You will be distracted and not drawn by God. This is very serious!

The core things we need to see when we behold the Lord

Message Date: 2020-05-31

It is extremely important for us to behold the Lord; it is the way to our transformation–glory upon glory, sweetness upon sweetness, and joy upon joy. We must use our faith to come before the Lord. Faith is based upon the truth, which is God’s word. The devil’s main focus is to deceive us, so that we do not trust that God loves us the most, thus we would not be attracted by God’s love. The most important thing in beholding is for us to see God’s image, how He treats us, and His countenance towards us. We must pursue Him diligently, solve the problems regarding our spirits, and know God more. The truth will set us free. We must clear up all of our doubts about God’s love for us, and know that we are the Lord’s first love and eternal love. The Lord calls us His perfect ones, above reproach, altogether beautiful and without blemish.
