33.3 The father has loved us as He has loved the lord

Series 33

Episode 3

Prologue

Brothers and sisters, today’s topic of Treasures for the Soul is “The Father has loved us as He has loved the Lord.” John 17:23 and 26 tell us that the Father has loved us as He has loved the Lord. This love is the highest and greatest. It is unconditional, and will never change. This love helps us to overcome all feelings, accusations from the devil, and comparisons with others. This love is very real. We need to use our faith to enjoy it and experience it. The Lord explains His love-desire, and the heart and love dream of the Trinity God in His prayer in John 17:24. It’s so precious that we can enjoy and experience this love.

Message

The Lord says in John 17:23: I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them even as You loved Me. (John 17:23) It’s so precious that even people in the world will know that the Father loves us as He loves the Lord. As it is written in John 15:9, the Lord has loved us as the Father has loved Him. And here in the previous verse, it says the Father has loved us as He has loved the Lord.
Let’s read John 17:26: I made known to them Your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them. (John 17:26) This Bible verse is similar to the verse we read previously. When the passage mentions the words “The love with which You have loved Me”, it refers to the Father’s love for the Lord. This love is in us. The Lord desires for us to enjoy the love with which the Father has loved Him. Is there any love greater than this in the whole universe? This is simply the greatest love. The love from the Father to the Lord is definitely the greatest and most infinite love. The Lord came to tell us these words. Isn’t that amazing? He told us that the Father has loved us as He has loved the Lord.
I’m sharing these Bible verses with you to help you stand against the schemes of the enemies. The Father truly loves you unceasingly with the highest love. This love is also unconditional. He has not asked you to do something in order to earn this love. Therefore, don’t be deceived by the devil into thinking that the Father loves you less. It’s not written in the Bible that God would love you less after you fail. What is written about the Father’s love for you is an absolute truth. It will remain true with no end, as long as you truly belong to Him. Of course, you have to be a believer, because these words are not for non-believers. It is so precious that these words do not have any strings attached. For instance, the Lord said that night: having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. (John 13:1) This love is unconditional, and He will surely love us to the end. All His words are true. He said: As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you.
Therefore, you should stand on the rock. God’s words will not change. His words are firmly fixed in the heavens. Otherwise, you will be easily influenced by your feelings. Feelings change, and sometimes what you feel may not be true. For example, you’re listening to me right now with your full attention. Would you also feel that you have money in your pocket? I don’t think so. Whether you are aware of the money that’s in your pocket or not, it does not affect your money being there. Truth is truth, regardless of what you can sense. Can you feel the presence of the Covid-19 virus? You only felt it after you were infected and had symptoms. We will be affected by our feelings at times. You may feel differently in the morning compared to in the evening. Your feelings can even be affected by the weather. In fact, some people are easily affected by the weather. Their emotions may fluctuate with the weather. And people are more likely to suffer from winter blues when there isn’t so much sunlight.
We need to realize that our feelings may affect us. The devil also attacks us. When you are weak and fail, or you’re unable to overcome temptations, the devil will cause you to feel that God does not love you anymore. Therefore, we need to pay attention to the scriptures, such as the phrase “as it is written.” The Lord makes it very clear that He desires the love with which the Father has loved Him to be in us. The Father has loved you as He has loved the Lord. You should enjoy this love as much as you can. He is in you now. The Lord has loved you with this kind of love. We should abide in His love and enjoy this love. This is how He loves us. Regardless of how we feel, His love is the same. It would be a great loss if you fail to enjoy it, or if you do not abide in His love. Even when we fail, He still loves us with the same love. Failure becomes an obstacle for you to enjoy His love. Therefore, you should repent and ask the Lord to save you. Immediately return to the Lord and enjoy Him. Even when you can’t enjoy Him, He still loves you very much. He loves you to the end without interruption. Peter once denied the Lord, yet the Lord prayed for him. The Lord even told him not to be troubled. No matter what happened, the Lord still loved him. The Lord turned to look at Peter. This gesture showed Peter the Lord’s love, even though Peter wasn’t able to enjoy it at that time.
This is very important! I shared these verses with you so you can be sure that the Lord has loved you with the highest love. Otherwise, you might compare yourself with others and think that the Lord loves them more than you. When the Bible uses the words “the highest”, this really means the highest — there’s nothing higher than this. This has nothing to do with other people. This is how He loves me – with the highest love – and it’s clearly told in the Bible. I want you to anchor yourself in this truth, and stand firm on this rock. No matter what happens now or in the future, nothing can separate us from His love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39) We shall not be separated from His love. What kind of love is this? It’s very clear here. I trust in what the Bible says. We need to have faith in order to overcome the enemies. Otherwise you will focus too much on yourself. When Peter looked at the waves, he started to sink. But when he cried out: Lord, save me, the situation changed immediately! Even when he started sinking, it did not change the reality. It did not change how the Lord would help him and be with him.
John 17 is filled with God’s love. Let’s read John 17:24. We call this verse the Lord’s desire. The verse reads — ‘He said, “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, may be with Me where I am, to see My glory that You have given Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24) Therefore we need to be full of hope.
This Bible verse is very precious. The Lord reveals the truth about the Trinity. In His prayer, He reveals the heart of the Trinity God. Now we see God’s heart and His most precious love dream. We also see the Father’s love for the Son, the Son’s love for the Father, and Their love dream. What I treasure the most is the fact that we have a part in it. Each and every one of us are the bright stars in His love dream. He went up to the cross so He could reveal the truth about the Trinity to us. The Bible verse we just read tells us that the Father has loved the Lord before the foundation of the world, and has given us to Him. The Lord also expresses His desire to be with us, and for us to see His glory. He wants to share His all with us. He mentioned seven times that we are the ones whom the Father has given Him.
I recently shared a lot about God’s love. These three verses we read today are very precious.
[Song]
Hymn: The Father loved me with the love with which He loved the Lord
Lyrics: Daniel Yu Melody: William H. Doane (edited)
I treasure You use the love with which You love the Lord
To love me forever
You use the highest Father’s love and affection
To love me and draw me to You
Your loving bosom, the depth of Your heart
Give me a sense of belonging and rest
You want to embrace me into the depth of Your heart
To rest in love together
To be enthralled in love
You love me with the same love with which You love the Lord
There is no greater blessedness in this whole universe!
The Lord desires the love with which You love Him
To be in me
Abba, it’s infinitely precious
Before the foundation of the world
You gave me to the Lord
To be His ultimate love and
Most compatible darling

Use the bible to enjoy god’s love

Message Date: 2020-06-21

We were created because of the love dream between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This love is unsearchable. We are the most loved and treasured ones in the depth of God’s heart. It’s so precious that we have the bible as our evidence. The Lord personally came, which shows God’s heart towards us. There are three passages in the gospel book of John, which clearly express how the Father loves the Lord, the Father also loves us in the same way, and that is also how the Lord loves us. “As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you.” (John 15:9) “I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them even as You loved Me.” (John 17:23) “I made known to them Your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:26) We need to enjoy God’s love based on what the Bible says.
